CANDID STORY
Re-establishing a relationship with my children, after a five year absence, along with the complicated details involved was a monumental task, to say the least. I could not survive a court battle on my own, and had no idea how to begin managing my situation with a legal professional at my side (not to mention the amount of money I would probably have to spend). I was completely terrified. Fortunately I was steered in the direction of Karen Hendrickson.

The thought of going to court was frightening, but with her professional, supportive help we were able to work with my children's father to find a way to resolve our main issues and find a "medium" we could work within. We never had to take our case to court. She never promised anything would be easy, and was completely honest with me. But she did tell me that working things out with my ex-husband, outside of the court system, was the best thing that could happen, especially for our children. She was completely right. I am very grateful for her effort, care and concern for what was best for everyone involved.

Karen's desire for me to be re-acquainted with my children was genuine and she always made me feel my situation came first. I never got the impression she was too busy or something else was more pressing. She satisfied my need to be understood and feel important in my endeavor.
